The Weekly Truth is going in a different direction this week and it involves a weekly roundup style. From now on, Professor Truth is going to give his thoughts on the last week’s events in gaming and allow gamers to gain yet another perspective on the industry. We feel this is by far and away the best way to represent Prof. Truth’s opinion on the industry and I think it’ll work out nicely for all of you who watch and support him.
This week’s episode is broken up into two parts, because they’re just too long for Viddler to handle in one part! Regardless of that, we’ve included both videos below.

Nice vid.
As for exclusivity..I have to say I agree with you on that. Exclusives are important to have. They moves consoles and what have you. If games were all multiplat..there would be no reason what so ever to own both systems except for features. But by the same token…if every game only had one home…there would be too many games to play, causing developers to make less income, thereby hurting the industry. I think a good balance between GOOD multiplats and exclusives maximize industry output more so then than anything else.

multiplats are good, and exclusives are good as well but if it’s an exclusive, it better be an exclusive for the ps3..lmao

Well, I’m supporting the most powerful console this generation, so my stance on exclusivity is obvious. Good vids! Nice to see these vids actually updated.

the exclusive games speack for themselfs

we would be playing a completly difrent game
or imagine uncharted 2 not on bluray
or imagine lbp with multiple online services
see where im going

I love the exclusive games mainly, cause as you said they can put so much more effort into making a great game rather then an okay game.

I personally like Team Ninja’s approach the most with how they released Ninja Gaiden for the 360 and then Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PS3.. They focus on 1 console at a time during development. They make some improvements and release the game on the PS3.
The PS3 now has a better version of the game with its new Co-op mode, better graphics, and six axis controlled breasts….. can’t beat that.
So that’s what I want to see on games that go multiplat, I want to see the game more tailored to the specific console, even if that means separate release dates. ( It took team ninja over a year after the release of the 360 version to release Ninja Gaiden Sigma II).

I would like to see Prof Truth address an issue that has been brought up by alot of gamers concerning Playstation. While, I love the Playstation 3 hardware & think it has the the biggest bang for the buck, I absolutely despise the controller. While it may seem insignificant to some, the controller is the connection or interface between the game & the gamer. I really wish Sony, while not having to change the layout, simply develop an ergonomic controller that has real triggers would in my opinion help pull in alot of 360 users. I would like to hear what other people say about this. To me, this would make a great system, even better, & another reason to choose the PS3 over the 360. I personally would love to play Killzone, Socom, & MAG with a comfortable, ergonomic, trigger style controller.
