In the latest issue of Famitsu magazine from Japan, Tetsuya Nomura is interviewed in regards to Square Enix’s upcoming list of titles and what is in store for gamers around the world. For those of you unaware, Nomura is the figurehead behind games such as Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.
Nomura discusses several aspects during the interview, but one of the more impressive claims that Nomura makes is that there is no difference between the CG and real time graphics within Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
To Final Fantasy fans who have enjoyed the franchise for the last twenty years and who have marveled at the cut scenes the franchise has offered should be ramping up with anticipation with this news. It’s no secret that the FF series has always delivered emotional gameplay filled to the brim with extravagant cut scenes that left a lot of jaws dropped.
Another key point to the interview was the mention of an unannounced title that Nomura was working on. Rumors will lead you to believe that it is the highly anticipated announcement of Kingdom Hearts 3, but I think it’s going to be something else.

wow, no difference??
that sounds pretty bold, but then again…didnt MGS4 do that? That aside, the graphics for VS XIII are better than MGS4’s so I guess its good….I just hope it comes out next year! XIII has already failed me…VS and Agito better not follow the same path!!!!
and finally, the unannounced title…..i would like it to be KH3, but wouldnt it be funny if theyre already announcing FF XV

JRPGs for some reason always have great cinematics but once you get to the actual game play it looks worse.

ok so that obviously means that FFXIII’s real time graphics aren’t the same as CG because they were scaled down for the Xbox 360 version. That annoys me tbh!

I am pretty hyped for this game, looks way better than FF 13. Not being a fanboy here but that initial trailer from FF 13 versus was just epic and they are using their best devs on it.
