The Official PlayStation Blog has released a Gran Turismo 5 trailer featuring one of the newest features of the game – Night Racing. First, let me just say that this portion of the game looks absolutely bonkers and fantastic. The lighting is incredible and driving at night is one of my favorite things to do in real life and it looks like in the video game as well.

OMG i wanted this feature so bad, just imagine following red taillights of other cars, street lights, moon light on the street, head lamps in rear view mirror. and with dynamic weather. I am going to use an over rated word EPIC

This game has some of the most impressive lighting I’ve ever seen. This is definitely one of the Top 5 best looking games around.
Still on the fence about buying it, though. The demo was a little too “simmy” for me. I couldn’t stop swerving.

I just hope that they bring back all of the night courses from GT3; there were inexplicably fewer night courses in GT4, and the lack of night driving in GT5:P was weird, too.

It’s all in-game – Polyphony doesn’t release CG videos. Though, this is their real-time replay engine, which chops down the frame-rate to 30fps and adds in extra features like motion-blur.

U dont see many driving games with night time racing but it looks awesome and so beautiful. Im not a big driving game person but this is one i need to pick up when it finally is released lol

The Cities look Highly Realistic….So does most everything else and thats why its Gran Turismo.
