If you look around the gaming landscape these days, you'll see a plethora of great games created by a small army's worth of talented developers. Ever since the launch of Microsoft's Xbox 360, Sony's PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii, the gaming industry has seen a crazy amount of overrated activity from media sources, gamers, and retail employees. If this console generation has taught us anything, it's that third-party exclusives are quickly becoming a thing of the past. In the past we learned it from games like Grand Theft Auto IV and Final Fantasy XIII, and today we learned it from Mass Effect 2. I just spent over three hours of my day on Monday registering for classes for the fall semester, which means that my summer comes to an abrupt end on August 24th. Those also going to college will start again around the same time, or maybe even unlucky enough to have already started. A crappy time, indeed.
