First screenshots of Ico HD on PS3?

Are these the first screenshots of Ico HD? Or what we expect to be the 'Team Ico Collection'? We were hoping to see Team Ico's first PlayStation 3 game, The Last Guardian, at the Tokyo Games Show but it's not on Sony's list. We hope they're just bluffing, because Fumito Ueda was showing the game off just a day ago. He was showing it off to developer's at CEDEC, Japan's developer's conference -... more. -

In the second part of our exclusive interview with Naughty Dog, the studio's community strategist Arne Meyer reveals what the team has been playing recently. Naughty Dog on Jak and Daxter’s potential return

As much as we love Uncharted and its band of merry men and women, we still miss Naughty Dog's good old Jak and Daxter. And we've always known that our favourite developer misses them too. The question is whether Naughty Dog themselves will be bringing the two PlayStation heroes back to us. We decided to ask them in our exclusive chat. It was one of our most popular questions sent in by you guys... more. -

Earlier in the year we asked you for your questions to be sent to Naughty Dog. We had a huge response and so since then the Uncharted developer and myself have been sifting through the questions to produce an epic interview that's so long, we've had to split it into two parts. This is part one, where we talk to Naughty Dog's Community Strategist Arne Meyer about Uncharted 2's success, the studi... more. -

So what's Naughty Dog working on next, and on which platforms? The PlayStation 3, the PSP? The Dog's explain that they still see plenty of mileage in the Uncharted universe and would love to bring fans more of the series and its characters. In our exclusive interview with Naughty Dog, I asked them whether we'll find out more about Nathan Drake's family and back story. The studio's community str... more. -

The PlayStation 3's games will soon be singing and dancing in 3D (if you can afford the TV and glasses) with many jumping aboard the motion control band wagon with PlayStation Move. So what about our beloved Uncharted developer Naughty Dog? Will their next PS3 game support 3D and/or PlayStation Move? The Dog's told us here at PlayStation University. When we asked whether we could see the next N... more. -
Kinect’s failings, or why we need 1:1 motion

Motion controls will be making their way to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year. Actually it's just a few months away until we'll have either PlayStation Move or Kinect in our living rooms. Both have very different tactics for motion gaming - Move uses both a camera and controllers, whereas Kinect is controller free. Microsoft's technology promises to be a big step up from the PS2's Ey... more. -

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves won so many awards that Naughty Dog has struggled to find the room to store them. With so many games getting Game of the Year editions, isn't it about time that the definitive game of 2009 was given the same gift? In our exclusive interview, Naughty Dog reveals that they're definitely interested in releasing one. When we asked Naughty Dog's community strategist Arne... more. -

So with the announcement of Sony's latest financial results came an update on the console sales race. As reported in a previous story, the gap between the PS3 and Xbox 360 is now only 3.6 million units. But how did the PS3 achieve it? We'd thought we'd update our comparison to Microsoft's financial year. Last week I told you that the PS3 had already outsold the entire Xbox 360's 2010 fiscal-yea... more. -
Insomniac to announce new game at PAX?
16 CommentsPosted by Patrick Steen on July 27, 2010 under PlayStation 3
Insomniac is now a multiplatform developer, but that's not to say they aren't working on exclusive PS3 titles. We've all been waiting for the next Resistance game - and September's PAX may be the time we see it. Or it could be the studio's first Xbox 360 game... Late last week Insomniac Games tweeted that they had "very exciting plans for PAX". Well it looks like we'll hear about this first in ... more. -
Uncharted 3 ‘reveal’ is a fake

The arrival of Uncharted 3 on Facebook had excited some. A new logo pimped the Uncharted 2 fan page, but Naughty Dog has come out to say that it's not official. Quite predictably the 'Uncharted 3 coming soon...' logo is fan made, as tweeted to me by Naughty Dog: "It's just fan-created, not an official Naughty Dog/SCEA page + we haven't made any announcements." You best make your way to Naught... more.
